Leaverbuster/Remake

Before I start saying anything, I have nothing against either the Leaverbuster/Remake system entirely. This is just something I've noticed happen tons of times and it happened to me so now I'm genuinely pissed about it. If anything, this is mainly for me to vent some anger off.

So, I got into a ranked queue, and went through the draft and everything until the last champ select. Right as it got to the final champ select my client's connection froze, causing the timer and everything else to act normally, however chat wouldn't show team's messages or the opponent selecting their champ. Because of this, I just assumed it was another one of those "I'm going to wait until 1 second to lock-in my champ" situations, until it sat on 0 for a good 5 seconds. I figured the client was frozen, so I closed it, and relaunched it, however it then wouldn't log me in. After about 5 close/re-opens of the client itself, it FINALLY logged me in, however right as I loaded, the remake vote was already started. Me and one other person voted no, however because it was already started and 3 people voted yes to remake, I get leaverbuster and am now stuck in 5, 20 minute low-priority queue times and am out 18 LP. I know 20 minutes isn't a punishment for only leaving 1 game, but the other time was simply an internet connection problem on my side.

The point I'm getting at is that even though I had loaded back in and was about to buy items, we got remaked and I lost 18 LP and am now spending half a game's duration waiting to even get into a game. For 5 games. This pisses me off greatly, and I find it rather dumb/bs.
