Is it just me or in S8 its much harder to climb out of silver?

Althrough im probably not best player under the sun, i used to be hypercarry that wins most games from s1 to s6, my highest div was high diamond.

Now I have played 160 rankeds this season and from placements (i landed Silver 2) i only got to silver 1. i failed couple promos to gold V.

Im writing this because im getting "tired", as if the previous experience that made me diamond didnt matter anymore.

i thought ill get high division quickly because imo my skills are as good as they were in s5 when i was diamond.

Therefore i wonder if there was some major ranked matchmaking AI change? I have a feeling that platinum games are easier to carry than silver games at this moment, althrough i didnt play on platinum account recently, thats what I honestly feel. What are your thoughts?

PS im using same champ as I used in the past, and he wasnt nerfed

PS2 im sure I will climb with time but from my experience, 160rankeds could make me already high gold in the past, or even plat, not hardstuck on s1

PS3. i probably played over 20,000 games in league so yeah i dont understand this. not made up number.

Look, I've been playing since season 4, and I've never finished a season lower than Gold on any of my accounts. If you see any signs of tilt, or greifing in select, or you see that the enemy team comp is better, and you don't dodge. Then yes, silver is going to be "harder". I never dodge, but that's because idc since again, I've always ended gold plus, and I find silver to be 'fun'(ny as fuck to watch people do and say retarded shit in). So, there you go.

You lose LP for a dodge, but not MMR, nor does it affect your Win %.

So we are at mid season. That means all the Hard stuck Plat+ are on their smurfs in Silver to try and make themselves feel better.

This and New lvl 30 accounts getting dropped into S3 is why Silver is the Toxic chaotic mess it is.
