But even if I suck I want to try to get better, only champion that I am decent as adc is Twitch but I got bored of him. What are your tips and can you recommend some champions?

You could just play your favorite mage in the bot lane carry role.

Basic tips, dorans shield is key in some matchups, such as vs lucian (his double hit passive). A good way to start off inlane is to start pushing since with minion/level advntage you win trades. It’s also important to not take free damage, you need to trade back when the adc/support autos you. Also don’t be greedy with flash especially if it’s coming to an all in, let’s say they have thresh, you’ll want to flash the q before it hits, it’s better than flashing after and still possibly being slain (that’s a failed flash) and if you flash agressively even it may lead to a kill or a double. For example when I play twitch I only flash agressively and I try to do it when skillshots are coming in.

My suggestion is obsessively friend every support that you feel does a good job and is happy to play support frequently. One that helps you properly manage minion waves without making csing harder. One that is able to identify the proper times to be aggressive and who wards obsessively keeping tri control warded, river warded, and placing one deep ward on common enemy jg roots(it should be your responsibility to keep the lane bushes warded with one trinket and one control ready). In bot lane its not as simple as countering though it still matters. This is because its a duo lane and whatever issue one champion causes another can be made up for by the other in your duo. The effect being you want to understand the supports and support items just as much as you should adcs. Some supports can be so difficult in lane to deal with you need certain items just to deal with their presence effectively. Good example being Soraka who you want to buy executioners calling before really going all in particularly when she hits 6.

Miss Fortune is an easy to pick up adc who is a lane bully and has an ult that can make team fights very one sided. She is able to all in very well and she has great synergy with aggressive supports making her that much more of a threat. Her passive Strut is really good letting you coast out of otherwise iffy situations and it help her roam/get to team fights very effectively.

Harass every time a lanner over extends. All in is always best when they have few minions, you have most of your wave, and you know their jungler isn't near by while yours is. Good junglers tend to like bother bottom lane because its a two kill lane and getting their bottom ahead/freed up makes it safer for them to get first dragon. So even if the matchup is bad you can just let them push you in, stay healthy, and wait for your jungler(make sure you communicate this to your support, as a thresh main in that role I wish I could read my adcs mind). If your jungler doesn't see the oppertunity in ganking your lane despite the advantages and opening then they are probably a bad jungler and you just need to focus on not feeding and planning for the mid to late game.

Adc's can be as much fun as how stressful they can be. It all deoends on if you win the lane or you lose it, and if your team will just stack the unstackable reports on you for losing the lane, or will have a bit of reason and still stay chill. Don't forget it's a duo lane which means there is twice the responsability to take and twice the alternatives than you have on solo lanes. Also depends if you ban your support's Lux Bard and Alistar then you'll have much mentally healthier laning. Yes, these 3 are as annoying as TahmKench + Anivia fiesta. Other than that, the lane is okay, yoi got a huge variety of fun and unique marksmen to pick from, with unique personality and gameplay.and good fashionable sense for right clicking people to death.

Yes, I'm a Kaisa Vayne main.

Some things from the top of my head which I don't usually see in guides -

  • Imo Ezreal is a very **bad ** champion to learn the role with, its too much easy to use him like a poke mage (q from a screen away) instead of aa-ing based champ, especially if you are not an adc main (so you wont learn how to position yourself like an adc)

  • I think Lucian is a good champ to learn trading with (he can punish hard, fast and dash from far (so you don't need a great positioning with him, and you always look for those trades/mistakes cause they are easy to pull off)), one of his problems is that he don't scale so well.

  • Try Tristana to see if you like her, imo she have a good balance of safety/late game/objective control for new adc players.

  • You said you already play - Twitch, KogMaw I think they are good champ to learn how to position yourself.

  • Imo it's ok to go item 3047 or item 3022 if they have a fed assassin or you feel like everyone just one-shot you, you will be surprised how much more manageable the role is with a little bit of safety states. (after your power spike items, for example i know i deal dmg on Vayne if i have my item 3153 and item 3124 (power-spike) if i feel like I cant handle all the dmg they are throwing to me, my 3rd item will be item 3022 instead of item 3046; if they have a 4-0 Talon and Rengar at min 8 and i can see my sup can't peel him off i will go item 3047).

  • See content on how to adc, i personally like their content - Skill-Capped I'm sure there are many other good ones out there that explain things much better then I could.

I've mained ADCs since basically season 1. Top things to consider

  1. Don't get obsessed with labels,if you want to be an ADC main it doesnt mean you have to love every adc out there they play really differently, example i hate not being able to duel or kite someone, relying completely on my items and autos and not having any burst,so i almost always play things like Lucian,Jhin,Vayne,Kai Sa,Ezreal,MF and Varus. Most of the time you can burst or 1v1 people really well with just the base damages when you hit lvl 6. Which you cant say for adcs like Twitch,Sivir,Cait or Jinx who rely almost entirely on items and autos (Vayne being an exception cause she's really good at 1v1) So figure out what kind of playstyle and champs you like more and try to focus on them,it will save you a lot of time, like me trying to make Jinx into a good duelist even though she's literally not designed or built for it

  2. This to me was a big breakthrough,if you don't have a good support or aren't playing with a support, going glass cannon (full damage) is ALMOST NEVER a good idea. I've done a lot of testing, math and just played a lot of games and i cant stress it enough, going full build will get you 150-200 dps more, but it doesnt mean anything if you die on sight. item 3047 item 3111 item 3046 item 3026 item 3072 item 3139 item 3156 The difference this items make is astounding,if you're like me and hate being a glass canon then the solution is right in front of you, just look at all the pro players, they almost always have GA or Tabi in their builds and they play with PROFESSIONAL premade supports that are already well used to playing together. Now imagine what's it like having to play without a good support while going full glass canon

My build looks something like this if there's an AD heavy comp, which there usually is item 3047 item 3031 item 3046 item 3026 item 3072 and the last item is optional, either go LDR if you need more damage or item 3156 /item 3139 if the enemy has any ap in their team.

Every item here gives you damage, like i said you lose only about 150 dps while being almost twice as tanky thanks to resistances, shields,% dmg reduction from tabi and pd,lifesteal and finally GA bringing you back up.

item 3026 is the best item in the game, and that's coming from someone who completely disliked the item for years until giving it another chance this season, the psychological effect it has on people is amazing,i've seen fed zeds and le blancs walk right past me in team fights (plat elo) to target someone else just because they're afraid to pop their ult,die and do nothing but get my GA down and maybe not even that. I've seen so many people die trying to dive me just for me to tank their damage thanks to armor and % dmg reduction from tabi and pd. The amount of time that happened compared to me dpsing freely while my team peels perfectly for me so i dont have to fear being one shotted is basically 100-1,and even then we would have won the fight either way,i was just playing with a riskier build so we can win the fight one second sooner
