J4 (Mini) Rework Idea

The idea of this rework is to keep him mostly the same but add a more "Team leader" feel to the champ. with better team buffs. (My idea for his new W is not polished and could definitely be swapped out for something else)

Passive (Flanking Tactics): When an enemy is between Jarven and J4's ally, Jarven's next basic attack against them does bonus max health damage and stuns for a short duration. _This ability's cool down is separate for each enemy champion just like his current passive. This passive is both effective when Jarven is the one attacking from behind and when one of his ally's are because the enemy is still sandwiched between the two. _

Q IS THE SAME

W (Stand You're Ground): Passive attack speed moved from E to W. When activated J4 is immune to knock back effects for ~1 seccond (long cooldown) _Obviously used to prevent Poppys and Lee sins from throwing you out of the fight. But additionally we could have J4's ult not grant him cc immunity and instead let him decide to hold it so champs like Azir cant prevent his ult, or use it early to counter something like Gragas E _

**E (Demacian Standard): **Very Similar to current ability, Now with 2 charges. Instead of AOE attack speed it will grant a small amount of shielding per second to all allies near the flag. When J4 uses his Q to jump to a flag the flag is destroyed. This adds more mechanics to Jarven's flags and a little more decision making to his kit. He may place a flag and leave it to generate shielding for himself and his allies or break the flag to use it as a gap closer and cc ability.


With these changes I feel like Jarven will fit his role of being a war leader by bringing battle tactics to his team and by creating these zones or territories of protection with his flags. And when playing him you will feel like you're playing a more mighty engage tank who stands his ground as a force that must be delt with (because of his W cc knock back immunity). Instead of getting pulled by a Blitzcrank and casting E Q to cower away you will cast W and brush it off like it was nothing. I think it really fits his character and brings it to life in game

As a j4 player I would really, really, really miss the shield.

Also this would really hurt his time in the jungle.

I like the charging flags idea though. The others are iffy imo.

I like the e charges and his w seems cool too tho seems abit underwhelming If all it does is become Unknockbackable. Maybe ms increase or more attackspeed.

However that passive totally destroys his solo play power. So much power allocation would be needed to make his passive good and would shove him into a support position.

j4 is primarily a jgl/top and more often than not plays as an assassin/diver who transitions into a tank/vanguard. This kinda moves him more into the vanguard style of gameplay.

I would rather do something about his ulti such as a buff or debuff while inside his cataclysm instead. Or perhaps make his passive include some other kind of debuff if u want to push for the whole leader thing. Like mark the person.
