Came back after a couple years. After a few days it was apparent the community is worse than ever. On top of that, RIOT still hasn't changed their method of matchmaking - if you perform extremely well you will be with horrible people the following day and vice versa. Thirdly, although you can mute people you still cannot mute their pings - so trolls just spam ping you the entire game. Lastly, Pareto's principle, the lowest performers in the community are also the least willing to surrender which costs a lot of time.

It was fun about 10% of the time. I'm not knocking the people that are willing to deal with 10%, but if you feel the same way as me I highly suggest you delete the game. I know it will make my life better.

Well, actually you can mute their pings, and you can mitigate potentially less skillful teammates by bringing on duos to play with! But good luck in your ventures.

um, you CAN mute people's pings. it is right next to the chat button. perhaps if you paid attention you'd see it. (hint: it is the ! button)
