I feel Zyra needs a minor buff.

Been playing Azir a lot lately because he's basically an improved version of my season 2 main; Zyra.

Here's why: **-Azir's poke in lane is much better. ** He gets to choose his targets to help with last hitting, AND deals more damage.

-His Ult has immediate results in a teamfight. With so many dashes, blinks, Zhonyas, Black-Shields, flashes, and Fizz in the game, the delay on Zyra's knock-up makes it near-useless for anything but discouraging enemies from chasing.

-Their Passives I've had minimal results with Zyra's passive, especially since they nerfed it's width and projectile speed. It sucks to first DIE, then have a single skill-shot that does less damage than an Ahri Q.

Attack speed for CDR on Azir has synergy with his kit and is freaking awesome. I love walking into game with .87 attack speed, it makes me feel good.

I think mid lane zyra is going to be a thing of the past and support zyra might come back into popularity. she's really fricken strong.

Ah no.

As a former zyra main,I can assure you,she doesn't need a minor buff.

She needs a massive one,she is complete and utter garbage both in mid(her actual weaker role) and support. mid she just cannot deal with the immense mobility and burst of both junglers and assassins,support her early is so pathetic any meta(or a bit off meta) support will straight up murder you in levels 1-3,her skillshot reliant kit isn't great against the current assassin meta either,but that is of little consquence as any decent meta laners won't let you get to your mid game,you're gonna get destroyed in lane.

And before you start arguing with this(how I love the "you just need more practice" swagtalk,I have more than 1000 zyra games,still I do better on support syndra whom I have like 30 games on),I've talked with other support and mid mains(all diamond) and there is a consensus that her laning phase is utter garbage.

Forgot to mention my suggested improvement, an immediate slow on Zyra's Ult.

The pop-up feels good to watch, especially considering the delay, keeping enemies inside her ult is all I think Zyra needs right now.

Just because Azir is OP as hell (which he is) doesn't necessarily mean Zyra needs a buff. I still use Zyra successfully as a support champ to this day. Although I think this thread is about Zyra as a mid laner in which case yeah she's always been sub par in that position except on release where she was way waayyy too strong.

Although suddenly I'm now curious about the potential of support Azir.

Looking back on it i just thinks its because Azir is absurdly overpowered right now. Zyra is in a fine spot although she could maybe use a slight MS buff.

This is apples and oranges, honestly. Azir is a DPS mage, meant to do sustained magic damage. Zyra is a utility mage, and her strength comes from her zoning and cc capabilities. Also, you forgot to make an important point. Whenever Azir pokes, he gives up all defensive options. Meaning he's incredibly open to retaliation himself. All Zyra has to do is drop a plant and walk away.

They have to make Zyra's E useful again. The nerfs were overkill. It's incredibly slow, the hitbox is small, duration and damage are low and the cooldown is high.

They either have to decrease the cooldown or make the duration start at a noticeable amount. A 0.75s root doesn't even interrupt movement properly, it won't stop anybody from chasing.

Not to mention that the gains from a skillpoint in E (or W) are horrific.

Comparing Azir with Zyra oh pls...

Anyways no. Zyra is one of thoose few champs who only needs a minor base stat buff (hp and hp/lvl)so she won't get murdered even by the ranged minions and she is good to go.

I love Zyra. I play her all the time as a Support. The biggest buffs she needs is for her movement speed. God, it's slow. The passive needs reworking or making it ready to fire much quicker and for it to fire on click, not two calendar years later, when the almost dead player has ran off out of range.

I think she should be able to have all four seeds turn into plants. It's not as if they do tons of damage anyway. You can easily kill them.

She's definitely not weak. But when you look at other champs, she has things which are unfairly missing.

I want her E sorting out so the distance matches the animation and particles.

She's fine as it is but buffs are welcome. At least just movement speed.

Oh and give her a bit more health.
