Aurelion is actually bad at roaming?

So I've played three Sol games, and the way I've played them is to push in my wave and roam bot or top every time my E is off cd. Strangely enough, 90% of my roams have resulted in my dying to the enemy jungler, the enemy laners, or even the enemy midlaner who followed my roam. Is SOl actually bad at roaming?

Now, before anyone says, "It's not the champ, it's you who's bad" I have found great success with TF and Pantheon. I know how to play roaming champs, and how to pick good roams. I think Sol is just much worse than everyone says he is.

EDIT: 5 games, still die almost every time I roam.
