Stupid Matchmaking

My (mr8colby) and my brother (86 Dodge Ram) were playing a casual match of LoL. We started the game, everything going well. Heimerdinger and I were doing pretty good at bot, but Wukong, (summoner level 18) was doing terrible. Heim and I were doing amazing against the Ashe and Lux, (summoner levels 20 I think). Wukong ended up feeding Akali about 5 or 6 kills, and then leaves. He comes back near the end of the game, but is too underleveled to do anything. After the game, we saw that Akali was summoner level 30. I was the only person on my team who even had a keystone, because everybody else was low levels. In a nutshell, my team was very low levels against medium/high levels. I have noticed this many times in normal games. It happens more often than not. I know, matchmaking is also based on skill, not only summoner level, but my team still had much lower summoner levels, and also skill levels.

Anybody else noticed this often? Please leave a comment below explaining what happened.
