@Meddler @TheRiotBalanceTeam Clarity on Spell Shields

My understanding: Sivir and Nocturne both are able to block enemy abilities that hit or are cast upon them. Using a spell shield after you've been hit by a DOT ability won't stop the DOT. One funny outlier though is Zilean's Q, Time Bomb. You are able to stop the damage upon it's detonation. I have yet to test if spell shielding while it is thrown will stop it from attaching to you. Additionally, you can stop cc and damage from proc'd abilities such as TahmKench and Braum's passives.

Now where I am confused is why can't I spell shield Gnar or Vayne's third auto attack proc? I feel like I should be able to block that bonus damage but still receive the normal auto attack damage.

If I missed some key visual marker or detail as to why it shouldn't block that damage, please let me know. Or if you feel that this is discussion worthy, I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Happy Snowdown Everyone
