Do you love the resounding quick wins/losses or the long back & forth games?

All these posts about the 5.23 change to minions highlight one thing to me: some people want the quick short resounding games, while others want the longer games. We can't have it both ways.

I personally hate the short games. They are boring and not satisfying at all. At least half of each such game is pure farming, with 5+ minutes wasted for the queueing, the champ select, the loading screen, and the initial downtime. I tolerate this waste of time to get that occasional long epic battle, which are the most memorable and the only kind that I can enjoy even if we're losing.

But I've found plenty of commenters who say they love short resounding wins/losses, and can't stand the neverending back & forth.

So which one are you? It would make sense for Riot to accommodate the majority of their player base and not the minority, but I would be sad if I had to find a different game to offer me those long drawn out battles with plenty of chance for comebacks.

Back and forth. Love those games. Those are the kind of games (assuming no toxicity OFC) that I feel good about even with a loss. And tend to honor A LOT of people on both teams.

As long as the games are interesting with play and counter play the length doesn't bother me. Here are things that bother me in regards to game length:

Game is snowballing and a team doesn't have mechanics to come back, but just enough wave clear to stall for 40 mins before finally losing. 1 champion being so strong he can stall out/drag out/win the game despite the other 4 members of the team being useless Lack of meaningful objectives after tier 1 towers fall and dragon is off the map (rift herald may help this I haven't played enough).

Here are some interesting changes that could escalate snowballing/allow for comebacks if losing team manages an outplay: Teamwide buffs: 1- All tier 1 towers fall= buff to the 'winning' team's dmg to structures 2- All tier 2 towers fall= buff to the 'winning' team's minions resistance to aoe damage. Both of these buffs available to both teams and last through out the game

Inidividual buffs 1-Anytime a tower falls the player who last hits it gets a stackable buff 2-When a tower falls it drops a package of resources. Health packs/dmg buffs/minion buffs etc. can be picked up by either team, each tier of tower should have different drops. 3-When an allied tower falls an item is dropped in your base. Call it a 'flag' this will provide a temporary buff if a team mate grabs it and brings it to a tower. Buff could be-increased tower armor, aoe dmg instead of single target etc.

Crazy concepts 1-King of the hill. If 3+ players on a team have control of a broken tower long enough it comes back to life, with different stats (less hp, different dmg type/abilities). Could apply to enemy towers as well as allied towers. 2-team items. each member is only allowed to purchase one 'part' these can be combined to create a new siege minion, temporary buff, etc. Potentially parts are collected from towers/monsters and not just purchased through gold.

I prefer shorter games. If I'm wining lane and crushing my opponent I want to feel like that translates into a bigger and bigger lead for me and my team. If I'm losing lane and getting destroyed I personally feel like I don't deserve to win and would prefer to lose rather than win a game I didn't deserve.

I rarely enjoy losing, so long games where everyone is full build and one ace means gg always make me super anxious and nervous. i have fun with them, don't get me wrong i love the game, but short ones are nicer for me. I think the perfect time is 25-30 minute game for me

I'd prefer the longer games, but in the case of a complete stomp I would rather the winning team end quickly so everyone can re-queue. I hate it when a team that is absolutely stomping draws out a game just so they can pad their KDA. It is hilarious, however, when the team that was losing the stomp wins a team fight at 45 minutes and pushes to win.
