The Last Uberman - North America - Summoners - League of Legends

Hello! I've been playing League for about over a year now. I deeply enjoy the game and I love to cosplay as the characters (I genderbend most of the time). I know for a fact that I suck at this game, hence why I'm in silver 5 with a possibility of being in bronze elo, but I really do not understand why some players do some of these bad choices.

For example, my last game, I played as Riven (building bruiser late game) against a Chogath , but as my team picks their champions I can't help but realize that not too many players know who is hard to play against and which champions are easily countered the most. Ex: an instalockVayne appears on the other team and my teammate picks Ashe. Before the game hits 10 minutes the score is 0 to 9 with one tower down... And there is nothing I can do about it. While I try to protect other lanes, my lane gets destroyed, while I protect my lanes, my teammates believe that I am not being a good player.

One also problem that I keep encountering is the lack of team advice, warding in good places (or just warding), pinging, getting caught out and dying because 1 or 3 players decides to chase 1 o 2 low enemies into an unwarded jungle, along with teammates completely losing hope. I try and ward as many times as possible along with pinging other players about company but my teammates cannot do the same (until its too late).

While I try to protect my teammates from getting killed (which is how my scores went from 3/0/0 to 4/5/6) they keep blaming me for feeding.

One also massive mistake that keeps going into my head is the players do not understand what the difference in leveling is. A Zed is at half health and my teammate who is playing as LeeSin is at full health, 3 levels lower than him along with a massive item disadvantage, decides to go in anyway and dies (immediately saying "*uck" or "Lag" or "broken champion" etc.

My mechanics need some work. Do I just keep practicing and playing more ranked? I'm deeply considering quitting ranked once and for all.

Welp?

The more you play the better you'll get over time. Ranked is probably the best place you can improve from.

Ranked is really the worst place to play at low elo's. At lower elo's, the only people who play ranked are either people too competitive to know better, so we torture ourselves anyways, or people who have no buisness playing a competitive game in the first place.
