I know, I know ANOTHER Aatrox thread - but hear me out.
First off, I know the boards are tired of seeing Aatrox posts. I'm an Aatrox player but even I am tired of seeing him splashed everywhere on the boards. Let me just put this out real quick and then I'll go back under the rock in which I came from.
I just wanted to thank the balance team for quickly addressing the issue of the literally unplayable release of lightworked Aatrox so quickly. I definitely did not want to ponder a whole patch and receive nothing whilst my champion I've sunk so much energy and hours into rotted away. The hotfix buffs given were VERY generous. They weren't some lowball random ass buffs that contributed to nothing, these were some seriously good buffs and I thank the team for that.
HOWEVER, I would also like to urge the team to please stay on track with him. His passive is still gimmicky as all hell and could use a bit of a re-evaluation and touch up which is the biggest gripe and concern of Aatrox players currently. As of now, it still decays way too quickly and is hard to maintain (especially in the jungle).
Other complaints include:
- Passive giving base AD instead of bonus AD to synergise with W.
- (More suited for during Diver Rework) Ult still feels pretty stale and still scales with AP.
- (Personally gripe) Feels kind of weird with low attack speed but I can live with it if these other changes help balance him out.
