I Dare Any Riot Employee To...

I dare any Riot employee to level a new account from 1 to 30 without losing their cool at least once towards someone in a game.

My friend wanted to try the game and I made a new account to level up with him and I have never felt so helpless in my entire life towards trolls and people who provoke you and thrive on making other people rage. The environment leveling up is the worst I have ever experienced in any video game ever as a matter of fact we both just bought diablo 2 to fill our gaming needs because it's unbearable to play in low level games.

My friend is new and was playing renekton top versus teemo and ryze now you guys may be challenjours and say things like "well duo top is easy you get more xp and gold" so i'll say it again; my friend is NEW. He does not know these things so what happened is he got completely dumped on and can you guys guess what happened next? His team started telling the other team to report him for "feeding" and basically both teams ganged up and started trolling him other team saying things like "you blow" and own team at the same time saying to report for being bad and feeding. THE GUY IS NEW TO THE GAME and if he loses to 2 ranged top as renekton AS A NEW PLAYER he basically got reported. Now we both agreed that if he gets any punishment because of that game he's not playing anymore and i'll probably quit too cause i do have theses games where things don't go in your favor and your team starts digging deep to try to provoke you and you can't mute them before the damage has already been done. Unless you play on mute all which means turn the game into solo play without interactions (which was and is the downfall of great games like WoW).

If every Riot employee had to go through this experience I bet 90% of them would lose their cool at least once within the games needed to 1-30. This has become a nightmare simply because the ones who provoke others get away with it while the one who unfortunately despite himself reacts to the trolls is punished. So basically trolls run free doing what they do and players who just want to have a normal game and try to win are expected to have Dalai Lama's level of patience towards these people. It's unbearable the report system has made the community worse than it was and I probably lost my gaming buddy to it so I don't feel like playing league so much now.

Honestly if he's freshly new he should hang out in bot games to get a basic concept before going to PVP

You're allowed to lose your cool mate. What you're not allowed to do is act in an unsportsmanlike manner. Keep the venting and anger out of chat and you're good to go.

idk how cool riot's staffs are, but I've never lost my cool or anything and I've made more than one level 30 accounts, not because I smurf but because I play in NA Taiwan China and Japan servers. I leave ppl be and play the game, because I've come to accept that instead of assuming community is full of trolls, it's more accurate to assume our community defines the term troll. Do what you can, report, move on to next game. If frustration piles up, play aram or co-op vs ai to relax a bit, or play some other games to change your mood. Haven't had any issue with negativity thus far, not even when I ran into 4 botting teammates in aram.
