So, there is an ACTUAL problem with INT Sion (not what you think)
So, as someone who has played the new Sion strat quite a bit and have a pretty good winrate with it, I don't think it's incredibly broken, and it's totally a viable strat.
However, what I've just recently encountered worries me about the Sion strat on a fundamental level. I encountered a player I had run across multiple times in the same day in Flex ranked. He had generally been pretty toxic, and I had drawn the ire of his flaming because I was playing Sion. This isn't particularly unusual, so I ignored it. Well, come to find him a few games later also playing Sion on my team. They then proceeded to do the Sion strat, but specifically going out of their way to NOT get towers - being the whole point of the playstyle.
The intent was clear that this person was trolling, and both teams recognized that this was happening, and once called out, he immediately at the tail end of the game started doing the actual strat. He then proceeded to play innocently in chat. This worries me, as int-Sion can easily be a perfect facade for ACTUAL inting in a game if someone feels like it. If they're not being toxic in chat, then there's nothing on a surface level that Riot or a bot could look at be like, "oh he's actually INTING inting, not typical Sion inting" unless you directly viewed the game itself.
The main issue with this is reporting is probably not going to be looked at for these scenarios either since I'm sure whatever system Riot uses for reporting is most likely inundated with reports from people doing the strat legitimately, and Riot already said those reports wouldn't be accepted since it's viable.
tl;dr If you want to actually intentionally feed as Sion to troll a game, I'm worried that there'll be no punishment.
