So i was behaving very bad and for that i was limited to talk in chat. Meaning that i cant do /all and i have 3 times out of 5 to message. After it had been over, I was playing a ranked game and after that ranked game i recieved a message saying,"You are ineligible to earn loot due to previous behavioral restrictions." Is this perm or temp?

its temp but based on how long you are not toxic so if you get a report and it doesnt get you banned again then it restarts the time it takes i had one last year around nov (14 day ban) and up until last month i couldnt get anything so it does take a while but if you just chose to not type to people that could get mad its not to bad

You received most likely a 10 game chat restriction. The punishment scales like this 1st punishment: 10 game chat restriction 2nd punishment: 25 game chat restriction 3rd punishment: 14 day ban 4th punishment: permanent ban

A chat restriction gives you the ability to type only a few messages at a time and you receive a new chance to type every few minutes. You cannot use all chat. This goes for 10 and 25 game restrictions. A 14 day ban is a lock on your account so you cannot play the game for 14 days. The punishment is a perma ban on that account, you will never play on it again, nor receive refunds for anything you bought. Your punishments scale up so if you have a 10 game and get reported multiple times and its true then you get a 25 game and so on with the punishment tiers. Your punishment scaling decreases every 3 months I believe, so if you get a 14 day and don't get punished you get a message saying "keep up the good behaviour" or something and instead of a perma your next punishment will be another 14 day. After 9 months after getting a 14 day you will be back to 10 game chat restriction.

Hope this info helped, try to keep your chat clean and friendly, good luck on the Rift! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

It's temporary but I've seen people here saying it's been months after they served their time and still can't get loot. The general belief is there is a list of people that are on high alert to recieve bans/restrictions and that they stay on that list until they stop doing whatever they were doing for a long time.
