General opinions, especially for the next patch!
Ok, i have to say patch 7.14 is finally one of those patches that will make u excited. So many reworks( i love the signed and udyr ones) and the lethality changes. But like every patch all people will have their dissapointements.
Let's start with the udyr rework:
Honestly that's a massive buff to udyr and i love that, cause i used to abuse udyr so much, but to be honest i don't like something: the removal of ap udyr. Meddler did a post a few weeks ago on youtube about unusual playstyle and i whatver he said i agree, but i don't like someone that does the opposite of what he says. I have to agree that unique and off-meta playstyles should exist, but have equal strengths and weeknesses. His examples about about ap tryndamere and tank ekko were understandable, because they were unique playstyles and that's ok according to riot, but they caused a lot of problems for the game, because they were unhealthy in terms of clear strenghts and weeknesses, i didn't hear Meddler saying that he isn't ok, in general, with unusual playstyles. He' s ok with unusual playstyle just that they will be healthy. The removal of ap udyr is the clear opposite action from this that u said that u would take about unusual playstyles. Ap udyr has clear strengths( ok sustained dmg and strong early and better survivability than physical dmg udyr and better movespeed than him) and weeknesses( weak splitpush power, still can be kidded in teamfights, weak basic attacks and weak late-game). So why remove a playstyle that's even not so strong in competitive play. Riot noone asked u about how they want to enjoy playing a champ, for as long as this playstyle is healthy u shouldn't remove it, cause u piss people off and u make the game meta-limited and less fun.
The item changes:
The edge of night changes should be immediantly reverted on pbe. I will explain why i think that:
First it's the only mr item for champions that they build lethality. Don't get me wrong, but there is no other viable for lethality builds mr item like the current edge of night AND NO mqss gives lifesteal and it's for adcs that build lifesteal.
Second health is a useless stat, especially for the late game of an assasin. Health is good on bruisers and with that changes, edge of night will make bruisers to deal even more stupid dmg while being tanky. It's like come on riot, they have already an item for their playstyle: maw of malmortious. Edge of Night is defensive assasin item and hp on it makes no sense.
Outside of tge new patch plz do this change( if u agree that is good) on abyssal mask:
First i was dissapointed with the changes to the item, but now is so versatile and strong and healthy on mana based tanks. But one question: why mana tanks have the ability to get so much sustain and amplifie the magic dmg dealt to nearby enemies, while resourceless tanks have only the second. Don't u think that's kind of roude. Make resourceless tanks to actually be able to buy this item and enjoy both aspects by giving them this 100% base hp regen( on mana tanks the item should remain unchanged)!
