What should I do to improve?

(Not sure if right board) After games where my team (premades) would constantly bitch at me, I decided on taking what good I could from the insults and improve. I found that my decision making has improved a great deal, but my mechanics are still lacking is a noticeable way. I know what I could've done to survive/get the kill, but I find myself fucking it up somehow. Things like this made me start to play the jungle more often, while still playing support as usual. I find success in my decisions, but I do make bad call like contesting drag when we should've backed off or when my teammate dives the enemy team so the rest of us could escape, just for me to take it as a turnaround and lose the teamfight. One of my main problems I find is that I spam click when targetting things. This really shows when I'm playing Xin and my 3rd attack is about to proc just for it to be delayed because I'm constantly right-clicking.

Champions I use for the jungle currently: XinZhao Warwick Champions I want to start using for the jungle: Rengar Elise Champions I use for support: Sona ( main ) Leona Janna Champions I want to start using more often for support: Thresh ( almost 2v1'd in a semi-losing lane. Forgot to ult under tower.) Braum

My preferred/best roles tend to be Jungle and Support followed by ADC. Mid is my worst lane since the champs I want to use are taking a while to learn. Doesn't help when I rarely get that lane, as well. What can I do to improve on my mechanics? Any tips would be nice.

I'll get to a more in depth look of your op.gg here in a sec, but lets start with NOT playing WW or Rengar, those two champs will gimp your team comp 100% of the time they are picked. Only inordinately talented players can play champions that are so limited and have success. Also, don't play so many champs. Specialize, find the ones you are good with and stick with em. If you want a support for any situation play Braum (for a frontline cc machine), Sona (for a damage dealing carry style support), and Janna (for mad peel and disengage) and learn what situations require which support given your team comp and the enemy team comp. Stick just elise and Xin in the jungle.

On to your op.gg.

A quick look at your op.gg shows a few things. Your jungle farm rate is pretty solid, so your pathing is likely pretty good, but your kill participation is way too low. As the JG you are the swing man for your team. You need to prioritize assisting the laners earlier in games and work better with the team to take objectives and participate in skirmishes and team fights. A good habit to get into is clearing a portion of your jungle while on your way to make a gank. If your are, say, at your raptors and you notice the enemy bot lane is starting to push then clear that half of your jg as you make your way to bot lane. If you time this right your pathing will allow you to acquire your jungle camps and make it to the bot lane right on time to gank as the enemy pushed to your tower.

This one is crucial: http://wardscore.loltools.net/?name=oniseiji&region=na. This you have GOT to shape up and shape up fast. Vision is important. The more information you have to act on the better decisions you can make. You need to get your ward rate up closer to 1 per 2 minutes from non support roles and 1 per minute from the support role.

As a laner you need to work on basic laning mechanics. You have to improve that farm rate dramatically and get it closer to 6-8 cs per minute than the 3-4 per minute I'm seeing. Part of the reason you aren't acquiring enough farm is likely due to poor positioning and poor understanding of lane phase trading. It would be wise to search up some youtube videos on these concepts.

As a support you certainly need to have better warding habits, both in terms of denying the enemy vision and in terms of providing it for your team. You also rarely buy pink wards. Get into a habit of purchasing 3 or 4 every game, from all roles, but especially when you play as a support. Your kill participation rate as a support is a little bit sub par. You always want to be involved in at least 50% of your teams kills, and if you can manage it closer to 60%. This is also true for all roles with the exception of top lane which is more of an island and tends to be involved in less skirmishes and fights so a 45% KP rate here is passable.

In general you could stand to itemize your champions better. It would behoove you to do some research into item optimization and what situations call for what items on whatever champions you are playing in a match. It would probably be a good idea to check your Rune and Mastery set ups when you do this so you can optimize those as well. There's plenty of places to find this kind of information on the internet like this site: https://champion.gg/.

Once you start to see improvements on these basic fundamental things start exploring more advanced concepts like wave management and manipulation, rotational pressure, and how to organize and execute split push style offensives. Watch some pro play videos and some high level player streams so that you can familiarize yourself with what to prioritize, when, where, and why in terms of objectives and strategy. Learn to be a good team leader, communicator, organizer, and cheerleader as a positive attitude and effective communication are key elements in sustained success at this game. In fact these are the MOST important skills to acquire.

Learn and understand the principles known as Proper Climbing Technique as knowing these will help put you in a position to succeed far more often than just playing games willy nilly. They basic tenants of Proper Climbing Technique can be found here in this thread in the comments section (on the first page if you choose to sort by chronological view): http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/E9nkYATc-psa-regarding-ranked-placement-and-seedings-for-all-who-are-confused. You can also find an explanation of how and why the ranking systems function in this thread and knowing is half the battle mate.

Well, that's all I've got for now. Best of luck on the Rift!

Don't main sona, you can't really get better or worse with her because she has a super wide skillshot ult that you can't really miss, and everything else doesn't take any skill to hit. Just my opinion though.

Mechanical things are actually pretty easy to train for, at least for your right clicking issue.

Go into a custom game as a champion of your choice but with no runes and no masteries and

  • practice last hitting the minions using attack move,

I think the default is "A" then right click. If you are spamming attack move it won't cancel your auto if you misclick.

  • Then get used to alternating between when you want to move with regular right click and when you want to attack with Attack Move.
  • Alternate between attacking as often as possible while moving and the least possible while moving.
  • And always try for getting every minion

If you're not warding well then improve it.
