Ranked Rewards Problem

Yeah I understand the new idea of punishing those who were being a bit naughty in some of their games but is it really going to be for this season? And if so why? As someone who has been banned once in their entire life (That being this season) its sort of annoying that Riot decides that they want to implement this right now literally a 3-4 months before the season ends. As someone who grinded away from Gold 5 to almost Plat 5 its very annoying that this punishment is being implemented now instead of next season. I get it riot, you hate toxic people but if I and many others had known this was going to be a thing I wouldn't have AFK'ed that 3v5 normals game thus justifying a ban. So I ask that this be implemented next season, cause trust me I hate Toxic players just as much as the next guy but everyone has one game where their fuse just goes off. Even Riot streamers get upset during stream, everyone gets mad at one point or another. So please think of those who made one mistake and make this a next season thing :).
