My club has more than 49 people in it?

Hello there! So about a month ago, i noticed that my club had 55 people in it. It has since dwindled down to 52 people, but it's still more than the limit of 49. Either the counter is off, or there is some way to get more than 49 people in it. Does anyone know how?

Edit: I just counted, it's not a miscount, my club has 52 people in it,
