I once played Nami mid into a Nida, each time she'd W aggressively she'd land on a bubble, I killed her like 10 times I swear xDD But anyways, she can't land spears so good in lane and she really won't have priority either cuz she has little wave clear, you'd have to rely more on traps to mark them so you can all in with cougar form but you'd fight in their waves more often then not if you do that. I don't recommend her on mid lane. You could however try her in the bot lane as support.

You don't. A huge chunk of your kit is completely useless in lane.

You take smite and farm jungle camps ;3

Nida deserve qol as speed buff on her Q - 1300 -> 2000

Find an legacy server that is on any patch befor V5.2

I used to try it but I didn't do very well. I had to max E first to survive Zed poke and take cull and some AD to last hit.

Midalee is great IF you can hit your Q spears which can be pretty tough in a lane. I haven't played her in a while but I have 350k mastery points on her and a lot of those were in the mid lane, don't let anyone say you can't take nidalee mid... Just hit them Q's

I get that it's not ideal in-lane, but I like playing her as a full AP carry and I dislike jungling (seems especially stressful this preseason), so from my pov (bronze) mid seems like it makes sense as a stand-in for other AP assassins if I win early and roam a lot midgame
