Some one explain please? Provisions...

I am an Okay player overall and I mainly Draven (he's my "IWIN" champ.) I was S3 before the provisions, i lost my first one (I was udyr top) and than about 2 more. Than i decided to just adc the rest, I qued with a buddy and i went positive every game but one. Best game i went 30/7/14 worst was like 12/14/16 and i got placed in B4 from S3 with 7/10 won and 5 won in a row. Can someone explain. i had a friend that was S4 lose 5/10 and he got S5. I'm so lost :( now im off to grind again. Im seeing alot of gold teir in Bronze too haha.
