I can hear it now...

So from my experience, here is what I believe will happen, based on what has happened in the past with new champs.

  1. Riot hints at a new champion
  • people get hyped up and start taking positively about it 2.Riot releases champ on PBE and show a bit more about the champ 3.Popular league YouTube, such as Brofresco and such, shows new chap gameplay and such from PBE 4.After PBE testing, Riot releases the new champ to live (after a spotlight of course)
  1. everbody with enough RP/IP proceed to buy the new champ and play him/her
  2. (this is where it gets a bit dicey in my opinion) People begin to either love the champ if he/she is on their team, and hate the champ if it is on the enemy team
  3. After said hate/love, the community begins to beg rito for a nerf to the champion, saying such things as: "Rito plz nerf", and "{insert new champ name} is too OP plz fix"
  4. when Riot finally does deliver the asked for nerf, everbody raises hell over it, complaining of it being too hard of a nerf and such. This is what has happened (at least as far as I can remember) with: Ekko , Illaoi , Jhin , and Kindred , and I'm sure that the same will happen with AurelionSol (I am not including the newer support champs like Bard and TahmKench because the issue with them was worry about trolling rather than problems with how powerful they are/were)
