Matchmaking fixed...when?

What the fuck am I supposed do against 2 diamonds and 2 plats while my whole team is silver, gold, or no rank at all? I'm not even a Diamond myself but I'd like to be. I can only attempt to carry so hard from top lane, which is arguably one of the harder roles to carry from as a frontliner. I can win my lane, push to base, doesn't matter, everyone else is fed and my efforts are dick.

I pray to jebus that this matchmaking doesn't carry into soloQ or the actual season.

EDIT: The matchmaking was better even yesterday. So that means that Riot fucked something up today. Or I just got lucky yesterday.
