With Armor Pen Being Replaced By Lethality, Can You Also Take Another Look At Magic Pen?

Because I think there are a few problems with it.

Flat magic pen is still much more expensive than flat armor pen and I still don't see why. Haunting Guise for example is really damn expensive for being an item that wants to boost your early game power, because that is what flat pen does.

Then there's Void Staff. I really don't like this item. Its build path is really boring, the combining cost is horrendously high and it's just such a generic and good of an item that it has to be in like every AP build ever. Because of the way flat pen and %pen synergize, it's not even that much of a "I want to deal with tanks"-item anymore, instead it's more like a "I will enhance my overall magic damage against everything"-item. I think its AD counterparts, the Last Whisper Upgrades just do a much better job at what they are supposed to be doing and they are much more interesting and interactive.

Oh and I really like the new AD item changes btw, especially that Maw will give CDR instead of flat pen soon. Hype.
