About to play a game with Unsealed Spellbook

As a support. Hope me luck. I'll let you guys know how it went.

######I say hope because it's a waste of a wish...honestly, it's a waste of hope too. Just save your hope. And your wish.

In my mind, I see this rune being extremely broken, so I'm sure I'm gonna go into this game and 1 shot everybody while roaming everywhere and winning everything.

Edit: Game 1 didn't go well. We got counterpicked; Me (Lux) and vayne into xerath ashe. Lane was rough and we ended up losing the lane (didn't really feed though). Also everyone else's lane ended up losing, and they had voted 4/1 at 15 mins to ff. I pressed no because, like Lux always says, the superior tactic is to never give up. (Thanks for keeping me positive Lux) Anyways yeah...I gotta try again. Will update when I do.

Game 2: Lux / Ez vs Kalista / Tahm. We won our fights, got a few free kills on some people early game; didn't matter. 1 gank from the already fed Kayn proceeded to 1 shot us (in .46 seconds) and push our turret down. Game went on for a while; darius got fed too (yay 1200 damage ults and kayn walking through the jg walls literally 1 shotting everyone) prior to that, having flash and ignite up so frequently felt pretty useful. I like the 25% CDR so far, but I haven't found a point where I'd want to switch summoners (since I use hexflash, it's up even when flash is down, and if you switch while something is down, it retains the CD, making switching from ignite to something else really pointless) I think it would be more useful if you could switch and have another SS ready to go; or maybe at least reduce the CD. Trading SS sounds useful, but if you're only doing it to wait for the original one to come back up, you can't, so it becomes useless. I might try again.

Game 3: Lux / Draven vs Varus / Blitz. We were pushing, getting good poke in. Level 3, draven decides to leave lane for the crabby, takes long enough for 2 waves to push up, and I end up dying. I end up rushing boots and roaming, and I helped get top / mid fed. Game dragged on for a while, and while flash saved me a couple times, I probably wouldn't have been in the situation where I needed it up so fast if I didn't go down this rune path in the first place. I did eventually exchange ignite for ghost just to outrun the enemy akali / rengar, but the keystone really didn't feel useful in this game. Our riven had it as well, and I only saw her change it once for a few mins, then back again, and she didn't even get a chance to use what it was she switched to. I've come to the conclusion that it isn't unsealed that I like as much as it is hexflash. It's just too useful for roaming if you're playing a champion with CC.

Overall, kinda mixed. It's hard to say if it's that good or not. 2 mins off flash is pretty nice, but if flash is down, it's still useless, and I dont think changing spells is useful unless you're changing a spell thats already off cooldown. Probably good for early game pressure on champs like annie, or good for escaping those frequent ganks, but mid game, if everyone's grouping, it really feels useless. I think if you wanna go down the inspiration path, just take klepto or glacial augment. Way more effective.

Lux is wrong, the superior tactic is to not waste your time. I understand why she'd say that though, she's really young. she looks like she's 18, if that. Anyways, time and experience will teach you that If you have a chance of winning, however slim, it's a waste of your time to do anything but to try and claim that. If there is no chance of winning, then the superior tactic is to concede and move on like an adult rather than clinging to false hope like a child.

Unsealed Spellbook is highly underrated and probably my favorite midlane keystone.

The fact you have a huge flash CD advantage is already a huge selling point but the fact you can run ignite and swap to TP if you get ganked early or can’t find the opportunity is golden.

Quite often, I can recall and look for anywhere I can TP to if needed, or just keep my Exh/Ignite/Barrier if I need to lane harder

I haven't touched anything in the Inspiration runes except for the free biscuits, boots, %5 cdr as a support. I go guardian on tanky/tank sup and airey on ap sups. You need to go into detail so I can understand what you mean by 'extremely broken' so I understand.

Best of luck regardless.

Personally, I'm having fun with it on Annie.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but I see very little opportunities for it to be successful tbh. I see it being more useful in toplane with say a champ like Shen. You could take ignite / exhaust to start so you have some kill pressure, then post 6 you could change it to standard TP for roaming and what not. I'm not too stuck on it for supps, mainly because ignite / exhaust are already good options for kill pressure, and I don't see what else you would need. TP is just leaving your adc alone, which isn't always the best idea, even if you do see an opportunity for a TP gank in another lane.

I was surprised at how many consumables Kleptomaniac vomits into my inventory. They may need to fine-tune it a bit. Glacial Augment is solid, particularly good on melee tanks. Haven't tried this other keystone you've mentioned, its power level may indeed be greater than a first glance would show but that doesn't mean it's actually worth taking over other keystones.
