Riot do you even play games to test the items, champions, ext before letting them go live?

Because apparently the people you allow on the PBE server to test this stuff are not very good at seeing something unbalanced. Let alone the dev team responsible for thinking up these redonkulous items.

Short and simple here we go: Guinsoo's Rageblade is way too good of an item right now. Remove the 8 stacks bonus damage and lifesteal and spell vamp passive and lower the bonus damage by atleast 50%, the attack speed is fine however.

Frankly I don't care for your dev teams feelings at this point. They are totally out of it and do not have a clue at this point at what is balanced and what is not. You made an item that only costs 2500 gold perform like an item that costs at least 3500 gold. Are you guys seriously this dumb or do you just not give a care about whatever you do to this game anymore? Its a pointless question because you guys are just brain dead. Take some lessons from Age of Empires dev team, sure they are not perfect but at least they make their game very balanced.

No. Very few game companies put any logical thought into it. It's far cheaper for us to test.

That would mean putting in effort and Rito ain't about effort.

A lot of PBE dedicated players give feedback to Riot from Reddit Posts or straight up forum posts like these and some of them give very well thought out reasons for why something is either underpowered or overpowered and when a Pro/Challenger player takes time to test PBE and give feedback you know it's mostly like coming from a player that understands balance as Riot tries their best to balance the game around Pro's much more than average players. So with all this happening you need to understand the hard truth. Riot probably do read a lot of the feedback in PBE but their stance is that they don't think PBE testing is a good enough statistic on whether or not this would make the Live environment neutral/positive/negative so they disregard 95% of PBE comments.

Riot is not the only company that does this, many game companies who higher QA testers get given notes about bugs etc and won't fix them until the game has been released and made enough money for them to decide if it's worth putting in extra hours for their staff to fix these bug reports cough cough Bethesda.

I will cut Riot a bit of slack because this is PRE-SEASON not the official Season 6 patch so essentially until January we are all testing a wild, buggy and essentially broken game.

Are we forgetting that an Even smaller player base isn't going to help with Balancing. Riot stated before, The PBE, isn't large enough to test out major balance changes. What makes you think they would just figure that out in their Internal testings? (much less, think a third party could do it?)
