Friend was not getting BOOSTED. SILVER TO PLATINUM 75% winrate In 50 games

This is for ALL the silvers who are frustrated at the climb.

PEOPLE THOUHT HE WAS GETTING BOOSTED ALL THE TIME. How did he go from a 50/50 win rate silver player to plat 5 and looking to get plat 4 soon

My friend was raging in silver. Every game ended with him explaining what his team did wrong. He would get so pissed every single game.

I told him I would spectate his games on twitch if we agreed on a few rules.

IN SHORT: I gave him 3 pieces of advice while spectating his games in discord.

1. Your teammates suck and you can never fix the retards so ignore teammate mistakes and stop trying to win because it will only tilt you in the game.
2. Pick one champ watch a pro play it and understand why/when his strategy works/fails. (He chose Yorick and OCE Ninetales)
3. I spectated him while we picked one thing to improve on (this could be: Invading,Hitting Tab,Warding,Buying Pinks)

At one point he had around 20 wins and 3 losses on his way up.

Why each steps worked

1. Being any bit emotional over factors you can't control (teammates) will reduce your effectiveness in game and will make losses and wins less enjoyable.
2. Dunning Kruger means most people overestimate their abilities forcing him to look up better players shows him how his stats and play style were inferior.
3. If you focus on improving one thing instead of winning you WILL win more when you improve that one thing to become second nature.

He was 50/50 in silver at the season start

He is now laughing at how easy it is to win against silvers and low gold. (He tried playing on a smurf and just crapped on kids)
