Gonna keep saying this until people understand.
Riven was not buffed recently.
Conqueror's new functionality is broken on anyone who can abuse it that wasn't already nerfed heavily.
If they were to make it so you can't stack it from the same ability within ~5s like it already does for DoT, it would fix the problem without cutting the functionality for champions who don't stack it that way, and even allow room for buffs to help the ones struggling.
Edit: downvote all ya want. Doesn't change the fact Riot's refusal to change her is because they know she isn't the problem.
Except that Akali is not at 45% winrate
42% win rate.
Akali also has a 55% winrate in LCS and a 25% pickrate.
Sure, Riven has a 100% winrate there, but she also has approximately 2 games she's been played in.
Also, the only places I could find Riven at a 53% winrate were at Diamond and Masters, average is still 50%, 52% for Plat+.
Now, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure 55% is higher than 53%.
And that's not even considering indirect nerfs Riven's getting.
Akali and Tahm are both bad in Solo Q, but they're both op in pro so they're getting nerfed first
At least Akali is more toxic than Riven.
I don't find Riven to be that op. Either I'm use to her bs or because I main Vel'Koz and Urgot. Those 2 can deal with her just fine even with her shields.

These sites you're getting this "53% Win Rate" from are compiling NORMAL AND RANKED MATCHES. It's inflated and inaccurate. If all of you want to complain about how broken something is, use a reliable source which is actually showing Ranked matches ONLY.
And for the low down, Riven only has a 51% Win Rate Top in Ranked matches.
