New Ranked patch 8.24

After this new patch with the ranked armor and stuff all of my hotkeys changed and ranked became a mess. I went form getting 22 lp a game to getting 13 and losing 20 on a loss. And then i got demoted after one loss at 0 lp. What did riot just do to this game.
