So why is it that I'm getting stuck with rage quitters and useless shits that wouldn't know what a positive KD was if the letters were tattooed to their eyelids?
This is getting frustrating as hell and my back is beyond hurting right now, you need to work on your system Riot.
The whole your MMR is meaningless every new season is just a headache to everyone. There should be reward for working out of lower people but every year they punish everyone by making you play with them again. They almost intentionally seem to set their population up to be trolled annually. I cant explain the thought process in this, and im sure they didn't think it through either.
Other reasons could be the population has dropped so severely they have to mix large varietys of ranks together now because there is no longer an adequate amount of people to fill it normally in a normal manner.
It really is awful. You have to op.gg all your teammates to avoid pure matchmaking losses.
I got a support that was 3 games into his placements, and previous highest rank was silver... for my gold 1 promos. That was pretty exciting, I've never seen a braum do so little b4.

Yeah I just got promoted to silver 2 and ever since then I’ve been getting shit on. I don’t understand, I get people on my team playing shaco and other garbage like that and my lane opponents seem to have jumped 5 tiers in skill. It’s like they want to keep you down.

Nothing in this game was ever supposed to be based on skill.
Look at the history of these players, often you'll find out that you had the bad luck of being in THE game in which they suxxed. That's juste a statistic law.
You thought wrong. It's based on rank. There are literally 2 different numbers for rank and "skill". Lol.
Riot likes to keep things at 50/50 for everyone, but remember the LP gain and loss is based on MMR. So you could still climb a lot at 50/50 win rate, and then you'll experience a sudden jump as your rank and MMR finally match together.
TL;DR: League of Legends is just a grind
First what does griefiers have to do with skill level? From what I have hered there are greifers at all elos so...... anyway that being said all players (from what I have also hered) start at a lower rank then what they started the previous season and have to work there way back up. So just keep playing you should be able to get back to where you were the previous season. Also he waysome you talk you make it sound like your some kind of god at the game your not. Yea Im not that great at the game myself but at least I dont try to act like I am better then what I am. Also some of you dont even paly ranked so why are you even mentioning it >.>
I think that reward system in game are wrong .Not much players want to play as support or even in bottom line after game upgrade . As some characters was ruined . Sometimes problems are not because of less experience . A lot of players even dont know how to play support .But they stats are awesome :D When I am not support there is no wards in jungle and all players in team are wery proud of its stats :D As game rewards are for champion kills and no matter you losing or win so there we getting a lot of trollers . When coming assasin jungler support just standing and waiting till he can use its skills :D Assasin becoming in to support for support :D And at the end of game support dont have enough power to kill enemy . So as there is no team fight no shance to win . I am know some players play many years this game but when you try to explain they answer .Look at my stats :D So probably you should become in to troller to as you meet MMR requairements :D More kills means you get better team . Less kills means you get trollers who will try to get this kills :D
I'm getting the same here tbh. Had an Irelia who had to deal with 1v2 top so she went to my lane and refused to leave, then she afked. I even tried to give her/the jungler some fucking suggestions on how to deal with the problem in top.
