Can we get an adjustment for Hexdrinker/Maw of Malmortius?
At the moment this one item hard destroys most AP mages having any meaningful answer to AD assassin/fighters.
Due to the fact the shield auto-triggers (thus is immune to CC) at 30% HP (a kill threshold for most combos), AND grants a 20-60% EHP injection (level+Hex/Maw dependent), it's ridiculously difficult to outplay that ONE item.
You can't poke it out, either, again due to the low HP threshold and it's ridiculously short cooldown period. Most ultimate rotations will only come up in the same time frame as when it does, too. So, even if you hard commit to just popping the shield, it's pointless because it'll be up again anyway.
It's very much an affair of 'oh they built Hexdrinker, I should stop fighting them at all'. It's only after you get Void Staff (your second or third item, depending) that you can meaningfully answer it. For most mages, they cannot build Void Staff early, and Abyssal Scepter is a trap to build for fighting Hexdrinker.
That's all, really. My hands feel completely tied fighting this item (forget the champions) in my first 1-2 itemization choices, to the point anyone using it gets a free pass early game. It's quite frustrating.
