Star Guardian Syndra falls short of what could otherwise be a perfect skin.

Here are things that I see wrong with this.

Most of the problem is with her theme. Notice how her voice and her lines are not fitting with the actual look and feel of the skin. The totally "girl" vibe is not fitting. Ya, it may be a great skin with pretty good visuals, but it's not fitting her theme.

When I think of Syndra she falls more into a "maleficent" type of vibe instead of a "princess" of sorts. Lux, ahri, and soraka can easily fit into this archetype. Also, other characters can too if the dialogue is changed: like jinx. Here is the underlying problem with forcing this on Syndra without adequately fitting into her mold: Syndra's shpiel IS POWER!

Her weird floating skirt is out of place, as well as the noise of the "ploppy" sounds of the orbs. The degree of "cutsy" is completely exaggerated while not molding around her theme. I'm not saying its bad, i'm saying its "out of place". In order for this to work, it either needs to be ironically or seamlessly add. Unfortunately, it is neither ironic nor seamless.

What I would like to see is her skirt fixed to a sexier or more adult version: more like MF's skirt. I would also like to hear a more powerful sounding orb sound that comes with a nice Q. Anyways, we need to bring her more into an "adult" vibe while also making the "cutsy" elements more as a spice that supplement the overall skin instead of ruining it.

Although it looks pretty good visually, this Syndra skin is lacking because I don't think riot thought through Syndra's theme completely before finishing this skin and not making the proper edits. It is probably the worst Star Guardian skin out of the 5 that were just released.
