Why does everyone say pantheon is so easy?

I see lots of people saying he is an extremely easy champion some even say he is the EASIEST. I have to disagree and i have some reasons for it:

He requires a ton of macro game
His ult is quite hard to use since your enemies see where you are going to land and they just walk away (and ik u habe to use it as a gap closer)
He falls off a ton in late game which isn't really a problem in this state of the game but still you have to make out the best of a champion that is just dogshit at the 45 min mark which is kind of tough

Just because a champion is "the easiest", doesn't mean the champion itself is easy.

It just means other champions compared to that one is harder.

Pantheon can be "the easiest champion in the game" whilst still being hard to play.

He used to be really strong because targetted skills didn't draw minion aggro, now he's fine because he has to understand when to poke. If people are still complaining about him, they're probably bad. I'd rather face a Pantheon that can poke me but draw minion aggro than a Garen that will silence me, takes 50% of my hp and move through minions and then regen the damage he took by just standing still, or a Darius

Now imagine playing a high skill ceiling champion with a great macro game(which is needed when you play pantheon) There you go, you have a stronger champion that is harder to play. Strong != hard to play

your enemies can only see the second portion of the ult.

its like 1 second warning if im not mistaken. if youre not super mobile, its unlikely for you to make it out of his w range in time.

other than that, pantheon is literally a q spam bot.

Free poke with his Q which has basicly no mana cost or cd. He has a mid range on hit stun which also gives him his passive, which stacking up is very easy to begin with. Once stunned oyu cannot escape his e and q. He does not require tp becuase of his ult.

His laningphase is basicly no risk, high reward. Sure he falls of late game, but games are not that long currently and snowball is basicly the win condition which pantehon is one of the best champions at.
