Anyone else hate it when your jungler comes to gank but then sits in bush and watches you die?

You probably know this scene just as well as I do. The Jungler comes to your lane and sits in the river bush as the enemy laner pushes you back to tower. Your fighting, trading even, but your still lower health than the enemy. desperate, you use your ability and get a combo on the enemy leaving her low... just before you die to the counter attack, and your jungler leaves the bush to go watch another teamfight go bad bot lane. He could have helped... but he didn't.

My friends have experienced this phenomenon as well. The non-gank.

The jungler waits for FAR to long in your river bush before simply leaving. he's in your river bush and you pull off the perfect setup, but he just leaves you with all your cooldowns blown and an angry opponent. You've wasted mana to setup his gank but he won't budge from his spot.

My question is, are they trolling you? or are they waiting for a confirmation ping, or what?

Has this happened in any of your games? how does it make you feel?

You junglers out there (you know who you are) got anything to add?

I want to understand what happens in these moments. HELP ME SOLVE THIS FORUMS!

#I hate being that jungler... It usually happens when the laner shoves turret and then wants me to dive under it for a kill. Pretty often that's suicide. There are other situations too, but they usually amount to the laner setting themselves up for failure, and the jungler not wanting to throw an extra feed-kill into the mix.

other cases exist where the jungler has damage OR cc, but needs both in order to kill an enemy. If you die, and he knows he won't be able to catch the guy, it's better for the jungler to just go elsewhere. If this happens multiple times in one game then there is a good chance that A) the jungler is incompetent or B) the laner is incompetent. If the jungler is successfully ganking other lanes, but never seems to want to enter yours, despite having already walked up to it... that would probably by the laners fault.

That is a mistake on your part, not the junglers. Generally its best to try and let the jungler engage the gank, especially if you are about to die.

i never wait for a conformation ping i wouldnt go in if its an all terrible situations and i sometimes go to a lane and wait but dont see an oppertunity to gank

(if ur all pushed into ur tower and ur not 0-4 ) theres no good reason for jg not to help u 95% of the time

the overextending is importand id often find my laner not going in or pushing the enemy tower while behind and expect me to gank

typically, when I play Jungle. I look for the most gank assist. When the enemy is playing smart, I need to rely on my laners to set up the ganks. Unless the enemy is honorably extended.

In your case, you may have been too low health to give any assistance. And with out assistance, the enemy may out duel me, unless they were low health. (depending on the champion.) Either that, or maybe the Jungler was AFK.

If my laners don't have large amounts of gank assistance. (enemy lock up, mostly) and if the opponent doesn't over extend. I would have to get creative to pull off a gank. (usually means ganking from lane)
