Should LoL create a champion like Abathur from HotS?

It's about time that they do. LoL champions are starting to become stale the more they are released, with no sort of unique mechanics and gameplay other than the generic top/mid/support/jungle/ADC. So far Kalista and Tahm Kench were the truly unique champions, but that's about it.

I think a champion that utilizes the "symbiote" mechanic and doesn't fight champions directly would be a fun design to have. But it's hard to imagine that 140 champions has passed and not one has truly been as unique as Abathur from HotS.
