AS a midlaner I hate ganking for bottom lane

Pretty sure they come mid so that the team can group up and you can force objectives.
Sitting in lane farming while you have a lead is exactly how you lose the lead.
The fact that this thread is getting up votes still shows the majority of the community has zero idea how to actually win games.
If bot gets an early tower and the lane is pushed, they should absolutely head mid and pressure that tower as well. If that goes well, they can even rotate top and pressure there as well. It's called snowballing your lead rather than getting a small early lead and squandering it.
TL;DR This thread makes me sad.
P.S. I main mid lane -- if bot rotates mid I push as hard as I can. If you are both there trying to freeze the lane and fight over CS then you both need an education on how to win games, sorry.
I'm a jungler and I too enjoy ganking your minions, I mean lane.
Perhaps the ADC, who is adept at mowing down towers, is coming mid because he or she is after your tower.

As an adc, I hate when the midlaner ganks for me, because they're terrible it, they already lost mid, and they just bring the 16 kill lb down bot to one shot me and my support.

I disagree. If the enemy bot lane wins their lane they come up to mid. I'd rather have their tower down and pressuring me than lose bot and have pressure in both lanes.
Edit: oh wait, you're worried about your personal score instead of the main objectives. Try being a team player. alternatively, stop bitching, almost every mage has a free farming spell that you can use to get farm. you really should be trying to take the mid tower. farm is important but objectives are more important.
I know what you're talking about, but as an ADC main, once I take bot tower, sooner or later I show up in mid to take the tower, and I go HARD. There is no fucking around when I finally get my squiggly ass to mid so I can take some goddamn tower. I think you'll be just fine if I mess up, at worst, three of your waves. Once I'm done laying waste to everything in fucking sight, you can go back to farming or whatever you mages do when I'm not there to murder bitches.
I'd like to point out to people advocating to push mid that what ACTUALLY happens in 90% of the games I've played is that if bot lane is ahead when they take their tower the support wards, the ADC continues to push/farm (not much past river, but just enough to apply pressure) and the SUPPORT roams mid. If the support roams successfully, THEN you rotate the ADC mid to push tower/take dragon. Support/ADC just running mid at 10 minutes because they won their lane is actually stealing gold and exp from the solo laner, and putting your mid lane behind really early in the game can be GG for some games, especially if your comp depends on your solo laners for CC/disruption/peel.
As a jungler, I like ganking for bot lane. They take their tower, everyone abandon's it, leaving all the farm for me.
If my mid laner rages at me for taking farm, I will continue forcefully doing it until he subsides to a calm, peaceful tone.

If I'm adc and I go mid I'm doing 1 of 2 things...Pushing or defending...naturally I'll be clearing waves while doing that. If I'm not doing either I'm pushing bot or farming jg bby ;)
