Smurfing in Clash against any rules?
i'm just D5 trash I'm 31 and a season 1 veteran (i'm not getting any better i've peaked in solo queue), i have a g4 and a P2 smurf.
I feel like I would dominate actual Gold players in a tournament...and that's not fair for my opponents
I'd do well in a Plat tournament... fair chance for everyone in my opinion
and I'd be praying to get carried or for a throw by the enemy in a diamond tournament lol... not fair for me or my teammates
So, is it against any rules or immoral to smurf in clash tournaments even if I'm a plat level player in a D5 body? I'm pretty sure it's totally unfair for me to play in a bronze-gold tournament as a low diamond player but feel like it's equally unfair for me to play in a bracket with mid to high level diamond players where i'll just be a burden on my team and be lucky to make it past the first round.
I really feel like i should compete against P2-D4 players that would be fair, but instead i'm likely going to be playing against d5-d1 players who will just destroy me... I don't even know how the clash matchmaking or tournament rank restrictions will work but I assume it just goes by tier and being a D5 player has it's obvious disadvantages playing against D1 if so.
The difference between a D5 and D1 player is similar to the difference between a S5 and D5 player (widely held conception as the MMR of S5 is roughly 1400 and D5 is 2100 and D1 is 2800). Thoughts?
