TahmKench summoner 4 summoner 12 http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/summoners/masteries/#o.3aY8oHRSt.2HXESg00 3x Armor Quints, 9x Attack Speed Marks, 9x Health Per Level Seals, 9x Scaling MR Glyphs item 3742 item 3053 item 3065 item 3748 item 3022 item 1306 (as a side note, Boots of Swiftness reduce the slow effect on Tahm when you devour an enemy champion)

This is, IMO, the strongest Tahm solo lane build going at the moment. The strategy is built around his E for sustain instead of shielding to win trades. Basically you want to go in, get some damage on your opponent, then get back out. As soon as you have healed up, you want to go in again. Repeated a couple of times, and your opponent will either have to leave lane or feed your hunger. With Spirit Visage, masteries, and your E's passive healing (when maxed), you heal back over 60% of all damage dealt to you:

44% (base) x 20% spirit visage x 8% runic armor x 10% windspeaker's blessing = 62.7%

Now, I realize that his passive damage has been hurt and he cannot escape as easily anymore. He is still a very strong duelist, though, and his survivability is still second-to-none.

Skill order: either E > R > W > Q or W > R > E > Q depending on if you want to have more sustain early. I also recommend rushing visage as first item vs ap tops or second item vs ad tops. At full build lvl 18 you will have: base: 2225 health runes: 216 dead: 500 mallet: 650 visage: 500 sterak: 400 hydra: 450 Total Health: 4941 Bonus health: 2716

Damage from Ult: 20 + 163 = 183 Damage from Hydra (primary): 5 + 49 = 54 Hydra Active: 534 AD: 110 + (110*.25 = 27.5) + 50 + 40 = 227.5 (261-ish on sterak proc)

TLDR: Play safe until you get your E and spirit visage, then start going in for short trades to wear your opponent down until you can finish them off or push them out of lane. If they leave lane, you can roam with TP and ult, push tower, whatever.

edit: @ Riot -- If I use % health instead of scaling health runes, they only grant 212 health at full freaking build. % health runes need a buff, that is pathetic!
