Items ideas based upon the differnt mage concepts.
So as i tried to explain there are about 5 differnt kind of mages and xerath. Based upon these concepts what should the items look like.
Defense mages are generally really good at keeping the enemy from pushing and absolutely excell at pressureing a lane. Two items that are never built could easily become useful to them with a little bit of help.
and a new item called help of the mighty could easily solve this problem.
Help of the mighty could give a minion the ability to call upon jungle monsters to help them push. Very easily countered and very easily game winning.
Banner should have a significant ap boost (70 at least) and if the ap is as low as 70 give it some serious defense stats also just to make an actual intresting. if you want to make it an even more intresting item make the buff give all minions in the wave movespeed however make the minion steal 1000 mana from the owner until it dies. Remove the ap reduction from it too and give it ap scaling for a reason to reduce your mana pool.
Zzrot portal minions should scale off ap and give some ap along with about 25 armor and mr. Every single one of these items should be expensive since defensive mages tend to have more gold then any other class.
Teamfight wizards (i know how to spell it i just think wizzards is funnier) are actually the most well balanced class in the game and giving them any help will simply tilt the scale of what they will receive from the items you are changeing anyway.
is the only support mage that actually needs help but just giving him some more defensive options will make him viable alone.
Burst mages are actually in the worst state they have ever been.
NOT YOU. They simply tend to not have very many options anymore that isnt based in another class.

. Not deathcap just deathcrown. Giving them a third intresting ap item would help them immensely. Something like power card. After you cast your ult you instantly gain back all spells however all of your spells go on cooldown immediately after for double the cooldown. Should have about 120 ap.
The alcoholic yoloing divers need a good armor item or they will be indefinitely worthless as games go on.
makes absolutely no sense on them because they are already tanky as hell. Giving them just 1 other armor item like Corrosive sheild would be great. 40 ap 80 armor and after taking damage for 5 seconds release a massive aoe nuke around yourself for 100% of your ap over 4 seconds.
These are just suggestion items since obviously the card would completely break lb.
