I'm going to see red if I see one more person say that to me ingame. I don't get it. WHY play this game if you don't care if you win or lose. This is a PVP game, this is not pve, this IS a competitive game. If you aren't warding, aren't trying, are feeding kills, I AM going to be annoyed by it. If you want to play a game where you can screw around and you don't care about wasting 35+ minutes, go play solitaire. Good lord.
I'm gonna say it: it's just a game. Because in the end, that's a fact. There's no reason for you to lose your shit over a game, or even over people playing poorly, as chances are, you won't see them again.
Sure, someone might say this in game, but I think more often "It's just a game" is tilting. There's better ways to say "calm down" (like calm down.)
I know that is fustrating to play with feeders and flamers but I think that is just a game and if you're not playing rankeds up to gold winning it's not the most important think in LoL, it is having fun. That's my opinion [katarina-love]
I feel you bro. But you have to understand that's a defense mechanism for people who aren't as skilled. Try to give them advice for the next game. I get that it won't help you, but it might help some other luckless soul. The only thing I haven't been able to communicate to people is "you're WAY too optimistic about how fights are going to do, you need to ratchet that down."
If you have any talking points that have worked for you, I'd love to hear them.
