I know I am probably in the minority, on the boards at least, but I really liked it. I like the idea, it's a step toward changing the meta, and I don't think that's a bad thing. Duo lanes give some creative champion ideas, like Kalista and her burst from her W. Morde's W needs someone to synergize with for sustain.
I like it too. Though I do think his solo lane potential needs to be restored.
I think the ideas are cool but the execution is really poor in some places.
It makes me too reliant on a support not being an idiot if I ever want to do damage, which is not what Mordekaiser is about.
Or relying on an enemy being stupid and walking up to me so I can hit them with Q.
Mordekaiser is the worst choice in the game for someone to be reliant on another champ. It's akin to making Darius a healer of his allies or Soraka into a high damage bruiser.
I've played about 5 games on him as soon as he came out and I loved it. Some of the best stuff. Its fun and it makes laning interesting. I've not gotten to play against one to know how it feels, but when you get a support that works well (engage/all-in) its just awesome what kind of stuff and how much strength is actually packed into his kit.
