Ranking Tweaks
Honest, ranked right now is pretty... meh. You go in a ranked game, and its like blind, want to know why? because you gamble on whether your team is actually pretty good, moderate, or just downright solo feed. So here is how I think, having 10 games to decide your rank is not that good, you could, let's say, you magically messed up and lost a few games, now your in silver instead of gold, and its hard to get back up. Anyway here is my idea, whenever someone joins a ranked game, they are put in an organized setting of matches, tagging up with and going against people of the same rank division to have an evenly balanced game, that will make it fair, it only just now relies on your team comp and how well you play as a team. As in, if your bronze 5 or something, you get put into a game with and against other bronze 5's. Not only this contributes to a balanced game, but can urge you to do better with your team as a whole. For ranking, instead of a 10 game thing, instead, since people been saying "climbing the ladder," that got me thinking of this idea. Every week, depending on your most recent ranked games of any number above 5, it takes the scores of that and contributes that to either ranking up or down, where you have higher expectations for yourself if you want to rank up, and if you did lower than the minimum to stay in the same rank you already are, you rank down. Reminder, this contributes to a few things. 1: wins and losses, 2: kda, 3: cs and vision score, it will take the mean of that in some sort of way, and give you a percentage, which you can check to see if your going to rank up or down. What's more, every match you do above 5 will change your percentage, so if you get a 25% score (most likely a de-rank) you can do another match and win it to bring it back up, but with also the risk of bringing it down, which you can keep doing over, and over, and over again until you get a reasonable score to rank up or at least keep your rank, you don't want to set a derank as a goal do you...
