Can we at least be happy Riot said they aren't bringing back Solo Queue?

Or are we gonna continue to circlejerk "OMG YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID IT MONTHS AGO" and "I KNEW IT RIP RANKED"

Better that they tell us eventually then leave us waiting like they have been doing

Should Riot have told us earlier? Yes.

Should Riot have cancelled Solo queue? Debatable, but generally, no.

But in the end, it doesn't matter, because this is what happened, and there's not much we can do about it.

Riot no doubt knows they screwed up, can we not ALL freak out at once. It hasn't exactly made Riot change their minds in the past, and I don't have a very good feeling it will be any different now.
