I just want to say how badly you've broken me, Riot. This is spoken in the good way. Let me explain.
When I first got in to League back in 2014 (I played earlier than that but only ever really playing more than once a month + spending money, in 2014) after watching a Trick2G video on Udyr. That Madstone, my god, I loved it. The idea of this powerful beast running you down, no special mobility, no unique mechanics, just straight-up raw HANDS getting thrown at you, and you had to find a way to deal with it or just die? Humiliatingly? By mister dorito-fingers? LOVED it. I've played Udyr for 5 years now and while I may only have 300k points on him, it's because by the time you added the champion mastery system, I'd already started getting burned out on the champion. That, and the ever-evolving mobility creep has made Udyr less and less fun- He may be as strong, or even stronger, than ever.. but that doesn't change the fact that he's not quite as fun to play as he was before. Gone are the days where I can just hit ghost and run somebody down, now they can float through walls, or latch on to other champs, or get eaten by other champs, or jump over walls, or jump inside me, or backflip over walls, or go invisible, or this that and the other thing.. Udyr's less fun. And because of that I've just been floating aimlessly in this game, I may be a higher rank than I've ever been, I may be doing better than ever before, but I'm so bored. Nothing's fun.
Until I played Mordekaiser on the PBE.
What the FUCK is up, Kyle, it's your man Rinkydink Bumblebreath and I'm back with another League of Legends video, playing the ABSOLUTE GOD-TITAN that is Mordekaiser. This is not a guy who's going to even run at you, this is a guy who's going to walk at you, and by god is he going to fucking walk at you and you'd better run or pray to god-on-high that you can handle 7 seconds in the ring because this man is the indomitable will and he's STEPPING. Everything this champion does has POWER behind it, you wind up shivering every time you hit that solo Q, the atmosphere in the Death Realm is jaw-dropping, it really makes you FEEL like Spiderman. I have no idea what runes I'm going to take, what build I'm going to play, but I do know one thing and it's that I'm going to play Mordekaiser as much as used to play Udyr and maybe, just maybe, I'll learn him enough to be comfortable making him Mastery 7 (as of right now, Udyr is my only m7, despite having 10 other champions ready to meet him there, and he's stayed that way since m7 release.) Mordekaiser is my dad. That's just it, he's just my dad, he's my father and I love him. Thank you for reading.
