Garen. AD... Why does he have so much damage for his spin....

Hi, Story time: (If you want to know my problem, look at the next text) I had a ranked game where everything was fine. Was able to handle garen for some time. Then He took my turret when I got bot turret. From there everything was fine. We just had to deal with their team pushing mid so I tried to help mid as much as I could. While garen spin farm top. And then I wasn't able stay top and risking a gank from their jungler so I decided to help the other lanes and take mid out while we could. But then garen started aiming our jungler. A jax. And kept killing him. (Of course jax was blaming the entire team and then me. for letting him farm. (its kind of true but I couldn't do anything against it.)) But then garen was getting more and more fed... Like badly. without me dyeing to him once. (item 3155 this item is strong against garen....)

Garen just had to spin to take jax in 3 s/2s and was eating more and more, the more ad he was getting. Why does garen spin, do so much?! Like Garen spin damage should be reduced... A full ad garen is a nightmare. Well for others.. and for me to deal with people blaming me for trying my best to win lane against garen.... But this board wont matter. People will tell me its my fault. Or that I suck. Or simply that garen can be easily countered by: . or something else to say that Garen ad isn't too strong at all. But hey! I wanted to share my view... and I want to know you guys view on it. What should I do if I fight one again? (Especially that I have my champ selected before him. OR after.) Should I be the one blamed if garen get fed in others lanes when I actually pinged and signal all the time? Thanks for your time. Have a fun playing!

Because he lies somewhere between a Warden (tank) and a Juggernaut in an awkward middle-ground. He gets heavy damage because he has the traits of a juggernaut, but has soft CC and tenacity to get around the problems of other Juggernauts and act as a tank.

If you're against a Full-Damage Garen in-lane, the best choice is to build a combination of raw damage and lifesteal. After laning, focusing him will delete him before he can do significant damage. Full damage Garen is the squishiest full-damage juggernaut.

If he's building fulll tank or off-tank, then you're in much more trouble honestly, because he'll stick around shredding armor and dealing true damage to his villain more often.

Garen is strong against some, and weak against others. Depends who he's up against, and how each of the players approach each other. I'm pretty sure that item being "strong" against Garen is sarcasm, as it gives mr and prevents magic damage, while neither will help you against an AD Garen. Stuns, slows and distance is what you need against a full AD Garen, and you'll be able to kill him before he can do considerable damage to you. Otherwise, the damage and sustainability to outlive him also works, as full AD Garens are quite squishier than you might expect. Garen also punishes people who try to disengage and re-engage while chasing after them with his stun. If you feel like you can handle it, go all in. If you feel like you can't, disengage completely. Don't turn back around and hit him because he stopped spinning, because he'll smack you with a silence and start spinning again shortly. If you feel like the Garen you're versing has too much of an advantage over you, play more passive, try to lure him under turret. If he takes the bait, punish him. I could easily imagine Jax having a hard time against a Garen, because his spin cannot be blocked by his counter, he can still spin while stunned in place, and Jax needs to be on top of their opponent to do anything. Their Garen was simply playing in their favor, and Jax played right into it. He only has himself to blame there. Why does it do so much damage you ask? It's a constant ticking damage output, along with the ability to crit, and ticks faster than your average starting attack speed. Thus, AD Garen would build IE, boots of speed, crit and move speed to maintain distance on their target, and stuff like Death's Dance for that sustain and damage combo. He can also build relatively tanky and still output a fair amount of damage, and during a team fight, a tank Garen might have a better role to play... unless it's to the point where they have an AD Garen that's something silly like 20-5. At that point, just about any champion could snowball the game, even a Raka.
