How do I win a game.

I'm not trying to be toxic, but it seems like more and more of my lost games are a result of my teammates overextending or fighting cocky and dying over and over again. Even if i try to make calls and tell them to back off, they rarely listen. What do i do in order to climb out of bronze? Play a duo?
