Can Xin Zhao get a counter for his W passive?

It would be a nice QoL update if Xin had an AA counter for his W so it's easier to know when his empowered third auto attack is next. If I can remember correctly the third auto attack proc doesn't stay forever after two and having a counter with a little timer could also help knowing if you have it or not.

Whenever I see "counter" on the boards my eyes hone on the post ready for the salt. I got baited so hard by that title.

If you have your character info up, it will show 100% crit rate on the 3rd hit.

I expected something like ''xin W no counterplay''

I play a bunch of xin. I think this would just add noise without providing actionable information.

seems like a nice quality of life change.

I think it could be to add some sort of "skill" to him.

Both XZ and Jax do that type of thing.

You could say it was because both of them are old champs, but Jax had a counter for his passive attack speed bonus. I wouldn't understand why they wouldn't do the same for R if they wanted to.

For anyone who mentions Jax, his autos have to be consecutive, so the count is easy to keep track of. Because XZ is every 3 autos without the consecutive restriction, that makes it far, far harder to keep count.

I think xin is one of the champions most in need of a rework/update.

Maybe a bar similar to Vlad's below his mana? 2 sections that are filled with the first 2 autos and then drains to show how long he has left to knock someone up?

All you have to do is play with your champ stats open. Xin gets a free crit on his third hit (which is his heal hit) and it shows him at 100% in his stats when it's up.

meaning if your next hit is his third your stats show 100% crit until your next auto, then it resets to whatever crit value you have through your items/masteries.

it's no counter, but it does that smae job since you always know if it's up or down that way.

Personally I don't think it is really needed due to how neglegible the 3rd hit crit is.

You can also see it in your hud iirc.

Xin Qs from the AA Sound make a different noise than his other AA so they can be kept track off with good headphones

but his W that is true, there is no indicator whatsoever to let us know when it will proc, some animation update or something that gives it out would be very nice

same with Jax's ultimate passive

Maybe just have them reset out of combat after a certain amount of time. Make them more consistent and easier to keep track of that way

Is very easy to notice just check when you have the 100% critical....i mean it down there on next to your champ face...

Friendly Ram5/18/2017, 8:52:58 PM1 votes

No since it only hits 3. all other counter bars are 4. /s but doesn't his spear change color when the ability is charged?
