We Need New ADC Items

Dear Riot,

Can you please stop focusing on reworking champions that don't need reworks and instead focus on adding more diverse items to your game?

It's been about 4 seasons and the ADC build has not changed at all. Outside of Ezreal, Corki and Kalista every ADC builds the exact same items and its starting to get tiresome. To be viable as an ADC you have to build the same items every single game, there is no diversity like there is in every other lane. Oh, you're a top laner and 4 of the enemies are AP? Buy a Spirit Visage and Merc Treds. You're mid and the enemy Ahri is ahead of you but you still want to do some decent damage? Buy a Abyssal. But as an ADC you have no control over what you want to buy. The enemy Lucian has a B.F over you? Tough luck, no alternative items you can buy, just accept the lost lane and hope for late game!

It's literally getting annoying. I always ask myself: Why am i getting a LW? Because buying a Black Cleaver is more expensive and late game a LW is far more beneficial than a BC. Why am i buying a I.E? Cause no other ad item gives a similar effect to an I.E. Why did i get a B.T? Because like I.E no other item gives you a B.T like shield or B.T like life steal.

Why is there no alternative? When I'm a Carry i want to feel as if the items I buy can change the way the enemy team builds/plays. If the enemy mid laner sees that I'm building a lot of damage they have options to either try to match my damage or to build a defensive AP item so that i can't insta-nuke them. However when I'm playing ADC and I see the opponent got a kill and then has B.F to my Pickaxe I always thinks
"Well, not much I can do now, this guy will out trade me most of the time and now he has a huge lead on me."

All I want are new AD items that give the lane Diversity. Riot, it's been 4 seasons and the ADC build has not changed in the slightest. I think it's time to add a few more items that give the player the power to dictate what they want to buy without making them be behind because they didn't but a specific AD item.

TL;DR:Give us new AD items that add Diversity to the ADC position and give the players the power to choose what they want without being left in the dust because they didn't get a specific item.

Blade+LW+IE+shyv/PD will always be bought on an ADC regardless of what items they add to the game unless they completely rework those core ADC items.

those items need to be reworked or removed before adding new it ems for ADCs, otherwise the new items will either A) be completely broken because its actually better than IE/PD/LW/etc or B)completely useless because its NOT better than IE/PD/LW/etc

They buy them for maximum DPS, better sell Triforce and Sorc Shoes lategame on Corki, if you don't wanna be useless...

The itemization has always been in a poor state and it's unlikely it will ever change. Riot is literally afraid to touch BotRK.

You do realize that the champions they are reworking havent seen the light of day in the past few months (sometimes up to a YEAR). Champions like Mordekaiser Poppy and Skarner havent seen much play at all. All of which are (Poppy more than others) in need for a dire rework.

Besides for item 3031 and item 3035 , there is actual diversity.

item 3153 item 3072 item 3508 all are bought within the same category, it's just that Essence Reaver isn't nearly as popular. item 3046 item 3087 item 3078 are all bought within the same category, but Shiv has been left for the melees, and Tri-Force is only viable on a few. item 3006 mostly dominates out of necessity, but item 3158 is still used in specific builds. item 3142 is sometimes bought, but rarely at the correct times.

Riot has already said they will do a major marksman revamp after Worlds, but there weren't any specific mentions other than our old friend Essence Reaver.
