new ranked system

so if anyone has ever palyed invokers tournament the ranked system works as follows there is a point range in each division and you are given a set set of matches to match the amoutn of points needed to get promoted . so like say the cut off is 30000 points and your get 15 matches to get that many points , if you get it you get promoted if not you stay th same or get demoted .but heroes of the storm ranked system works differently there are 40 ranks and you earn points with each win and lose points with each loss but say like a match ends soon liek you get spanked you dont lose that many points or you did very very very well which again causes you to not lose that many points. there really are no divions in heroes only rank with 40 ranks so maybe its time for a change in leegue i my self find it in effivient for 1 to have to play so many matches to earnt the 100 points then on top of it having to win 2 out of 3 to get promoted to me thats extremely inefficient but who knows and on top of it all there are 5 tiers which really isnt to much of a issue but still...... thoughts please and thanks for your responses
