Ranked "Fix"

So before the ranked "fix" today I was currently sitting at 16 win and 4 losses and I was excited for the climb because I have personally felt like I have grown as a player and this season was looking promising. After the "fix" Riot required you to play another "placement game" (Because the 10 before where i went 8-2 didn't count apparently). Which I mean whatever I was totally up for it no big deal. After the "placement game" I got put into Bronze 1, and let me tell you I'm tilted. I feel like Riot dropped the ranked ball heavily with this "fix". And I know I'm not the only one. So my question to you guys (and Riot if they respond) is how would you like ranked fixed by the real season, and did Riot really fix the problem?

Same here,i was in promotion to silver (Got Bronze 1 in flex q) and today i played my first game of the promotion and got Bronze 4 wtf rio

I literally just made a thread about this and now I'm seeing lots of other people who already got placed (and dropped considerably, though this was expected) get dropped EVEN MORE by this "fix".

I was actually super excited for Twisted Treeline having ranked able to queue solo or duo and I had previously landed in high bronze or mid silver in past seasons of premade 3s. So I was like "well, bronze II that's okay I guess." Then after I win my extra placement match, I get bronze 5. Am I supposed to be exicted, and motivated to improve after being dropped a tier and several divisions from my best? No.

This "fix" is just plain bullshit. I was in Plat 2 last season and I got 8 wins and 2 lost games, got ranked plat 3(reasonable) and after the fix I just lost this one game they wanted me to play for a new rank and got frickin' silver 1. What the hell!?

I placed in Plat 2 after flex promos with insane MMR. My PC crashed during that new single promo and it placed me in Silver 2. My hopes were so high for the season and now their at the lowest. I played super well which helped me win 9/10. I played against Diamonds and a master (even though I was only Gold 1 last season). I really hope the revert this.

i went 8/2 in my placements and got silver 2, won my extra game then I dropped to bronze 5, I get 30 lp per win so I should climb reasonable fast but I'm still a little pissed.
